Marty Lasure to begin three-year elected term March, 2022

Columbus, IN – Marty Lasure, Vice President of Communications & Member Services at Bartholomew County Rural Electric Member Cooperative (BCREMC), was recently elected to the board of directors of Touchstone Energy. Lasure begins her first three-year term on March 4th at the board’s national organizational meeting in Nashville, IN.

 

“It has been a privilege to work for the cooperative, and I am excited to be on the Touchstone Energy team that provides invaluable national partnerships, business development initiatives and resources to help co-ops better engage and serve their members”, said Lasure.

 

The Touchstone Energy Board of Directors consists of 13 volunteer members responsible for setting policy, establishing long-term goals, monitoring general operations, and approving the organizational outcomes and allocation of resources. Having worked in the electric cooperative program for 15 years, Marty has served several positions at BCREMC including member services, public relations, and communications. She has served in her current role as VP of Communications and Member Services for the past 6 years. In this capacity, she is responsible for overall communications, managing the member services department, as well as the vegetation management program.
