A EnergyLines conseguiu entrar em contato com Bradley Lynch, membro-consumidor da Southern Indiana Power, para discutir os desafios que ele enfrenta ao possuir um carro totalmente el\u00e9trico no sul de Indiana.<\/p>\n

Lynch descobriu que ter um carro el\u00e9trico em uma \u00e1rea rural traz consigo um pouco de celebridade. \u201cAs pessoas perguntam se podem tirar fotos do carro e geralmente ficam impressionadas com o desempenho do motor el\u00e9trico\u201d, disse Lynch.<\/p>\n

Ele tem um Tesla Model S, mas as pessoas sempre perguntam se \u00e9 um ve\u00edculo h\u00edbrido, chegando ao ponto de procurar fisicamente por baixo dele um motor, uma transmiss\u00e3o e escapamentos.<\/p>\n

Lynch pesquisou v\u00e1rios EVs ao pensar em seu pr\u00f3ximo carro. Ele dirige mais de 100 milhas para seu trajeto de trabalho todos os dias, o que leva a maiores custos de combust\u00edvel e manuten\u00e7\u00e3o do carro. Ele olhou para o h\u00edbrido plug-in Chevy Volt e o Nissan Leaf. Um colega de trabalho o convenceu a agendar um test drive com a concession\u00e1ria Tesla em Indian\u00e1polis.<\/p>\n

Lynch afirmou que ele certamente repetiria sua compra, mas tamb\u00e9m enfatizou que um comprador em potencial precisa pesquisar sobre o ve\u00edculo e o carregamento com anteced\u00eancia. Esta n\u00e3o deve ser uma compra por impulso.<\/p>\n
