Ces membres sont situ\u00e9s sur l&#039;ancien territoire d&#039;AT&amp;T, en dehors de la zone de service actuelle de PSC. \u00bb<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Selon Seibert, le financement de ce projet de grande envergure a n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 une approche \u00e0 plusieurs volets. Les deux coop\u00e9ratives ont soumis une demande conjointe \u00e0 l&#039;Indiana Next Level Connections Broadband Grant, et PSC a re\u00e7u 14,4 millions de livres sterling, dont environ la moiti\u00e9 servira \u00e0 financer la fibre optique vers les membres-consommateurs SIP. Les travaux de construction pour la subvention doivent \u00eatre termin\u00e9s dans un d\u00e9lai de deux ans.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s3\">Le gouvernement du comt\u00e9 de Spencer a approuv\u00e9 une contribution de 14,5 millions de TP pour soutenir le projet, et Southern Indiana Power a \u00e9galement obtenu un pr\u00eat \u00ab Smartgrid \u00bb de 14,5 millions de TP aupr\u00e8s du Rural Utilities Service du minist\u00e8re de l&#039;Agriculture des \u00c9tats-Unis.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s3\">\u00ab Nous investissons \u00e9galement les fonds de notre propre centrale \u00e9lectrique dans la pr\u00e9paration de la fibre optique pour des t\u00e2ches telles que le changement de poteaux et la correction des d\u00e9gagements afin de respecter les normes du Code national de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 \u00e9lectrique \u00bb, explique Seibert, ajoutant que le projet sur cinq ans co\u00fbtera plus de 1430 millions de dollars et couvrira environ 1 100 kilom\u00e8tres de fibre optique principale. \u00ab Toutes sortes d&#039;entit\u00e9s se regroupent pour mener \u00e0 bien ce travail. \u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s3\">Les travaux de construction des parties du projet financ\u00e9es par des subventions ont commenc\u00e9 plus t\u00f4t cette ann\u00e9e et se d\u00e9rouleront en huit phases. Les phases 1 \u00e0 4 devraient \u00eatre r\u00e9alis\u00e9es en 2020, puis les phases 5 \u00e0 8 en 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s3\">La construction et les raccordements pour la zone non financ\u00e9e \u2013 c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire la zone non subventionn\u00e9e \u2013 seront achev\u00e9s dans les ann\u00e9es trois \u00e0 cinq.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s3\">\u00ab Ce projet a vraiment pour objectif le d\u00e9veloppement et la durabilit\u00e9 de notre communaut\u00e9 dans son ensemble \u00bb, explique Seibert. \u00ab Si nous n\u2019avons pas de fibre optique sur notre territoire de service \u00e9lectrique, la nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de membres ne vivra tout simplement pas ici.
