La ligne reliera la sous-station Hoosier Energy Wilbur \u00e0 la sous-station Duke Energy Centerton, toutes deux situ\u00e9es dans le comt\u00e9 de Morgan.<\/p>\n<p>Le projet est essentiel pour am\u00e9liorer la fiabilit\u00e9 du r\u00e9seau de transport \u2013 l\u2019\u00e9pine dorsale du syst\u00e8me \u00e9lectrique \u2013 en ajoutant une autre source d\u2019\u00e9nergie pour alimenter la r\u00e9gion. Les am\u00e9liorations r\u00e9duiront la fr\u00e9quence et la dur\u00e9e des pannes de courant pour les membres du SCI REMC qui re\u00e7oivent de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 autour des r\u00e9gions de Wilbur, Monrovia et Mooresville via Hoosier Energy. Quatre itin\u00e9raires potentiels ont \u00e9t\u00e9 identifi\u00e9s et \u00e9tudi\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Les quatre itin\u00e9raires ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tudi\u00e9s en fonction des contraintes et des opportunit\u00e9s en fonction des facteurs environnementaux, sociaux et techniques, \u00e0 l&#039;aide des donn\u00e9es, des couches et des photographies a\u00e9riennes disponibles. SCI REMC a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e en 1939 et est la plus grande coop\u00e9rative \u00e9lectrique rurale de l&#039;Indiana. Les coop\u00e9ratives \u00e9lectriques ont \u00e9t\u00e9 organis\u00e9es par des personnes vivant dans des zones rurales qui se sont regroup\u00e9es pour fournir de l&#039;\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 \u00e0 leurs propres foyers, l\u00e0 o\u00f9 les services publics appartenant \u00e0 des investisseurs refusaient d&#039;aller (et le font toujours). L&#039;ajout d&#039;actifs tels que cette nouvelle ligne garantit la fiabilit\u00e9 et la r\u00e9silience, ainsi que l&#039;adaptation aux technologies futures.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">Plus de 3 400 membres des r\u00e9gions de Wilbur, Monrovia, Mooresville et Beech Grove sont desservis par une seule ligne de transmission de 10 miles, qui alimente la sous-station de Wilbur. La nouvelle ligne reliant la sous-station Duke Energy Centerton \u00e0 la sous-station de Wilbur ajoutera une deuxi\u00e8me alimentation pour am\u00e9liorer la fiabilit\u00e9 du syst\u00e8me et contribuer \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les pannes.
