Merom Wind kWh Generation
Readings began on December 1, 2008

The Proven Energy wind turbine is currently shut down due to company recall.  Proven informed Hoosier Energy that they will be contracting Ohio Green Wind to perform the removal and reinstallation of the turbine.  Work should commence at the beginning to middle of June and last about a month.  Hoosier Energy does not expect generation from the wind turbine until the end of July at the earliest.  The retrofit of the turbine will be completed by Proven at a shop in Chicago.  This work will include new hinges, cables, and safety lanyards, shaft bearings on the rotor, and blades will be trimmed.  The following year Proven will again remove the turbine from the tower and replace the blades with a new reengineered design.  For more information please view the official Proven customer update
