Outros podem custar mais ou levar mais tempo, mas poucos se igualam \u00e0s complica\u00e7\u00f5es envolvidas na solu\u00e7\u00e3o do tipo de problema que somente a M\u00e3e Natureza pode criar.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Atravessando o White River no Condado de Greene, a sudoeste de Bloomfield, h\u00e1 um trecho de tr\u00eas quartos de milha de linhas de energia. Essas linhas foram estrategicamente colocadas fora de perigo h\u00e1 cerca de cinco d\u00e9cadas, mas a eros\u00e3o, a migra\u00e7\u00e3o do rio e o olhar atento dos funcion\u00e1rios da Hoosier Energy, como o Working Foreman Phil Gardner, colocaram a substitui\u00e7\u00e3o dessas linhas na mira, de acordo com uma das prioridades estrat\u00e9gicas da empresa \u2013 Tecnologia de Rede e Infraestrutura.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Reprodutor de v\u00eddeo do YouTube\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/q37OKvf9PhQ\" width=\"750\" height=\"475\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMuitas vezes esses projetos surgem de nossos eletricistas e pessoas no campo reconhecendo uma necessidade\u201d, disse o vice-presidente de servi\u00e7os t\u00e9cnicos da Hoosier Energy, Will Kaufman. \u201cEste projeto em particular, Phil est\u00e1 envolvido h\u00e1 d\u00e9cadas, e ele viu o rio se mover cerca de 300 p\u00e9s ao longo de sua carreira. Ele substituiu postes que foram levados pela \u00e1gua e erodidos pelo rio in\u00fameras vezes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCerca de cinco ou seis anos atr\u00e1s, esse projeto chamou a aten\u00e7\u00e3o da engenharia porque Phil e a equipe de linha fizeram patrulhas a p\u00e9 e retransmitiram o que estavam encontrando.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>O que a equipe de engenharia descobriu foi a necessidade de abordar permanentemente os problemas enquanto considerava uma an\u00e1lise alternativa. No final, o corredor existente \u201cfazia mais sentido\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Tamb\u00e9m fazia sentido garantir que, quando esse novo projeto fosse conclu\u00eddo, o problema seria resolvido de uma vez por todas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs opera\u00e7\u00f5es moveram esses postes algumas vezes diferentes\u201d, disse o gerente s\u00eanior de projetos Kyle Eslinger. \u201cMas a M\u00e3e Natureza est\u00e1 vencendo, ent\u00e3o, eventualmente, o rio remover\u00e1 esses postes. A engenharia projetou isso para que, quando a M\u00e3e Natureza os remover, nossos membros tenham eletricidade confi\u00e1vel. Quando terminarmos esse trabalho, nunca mais teremos que mexer com isso.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Para que isso acontecesse, os novos postes precisavam estar prontos para acabar no meio do rio em um futuro n\u00e3o t\u00e3o distante. O rio atualmente corre a apenas 60 p\u00e9s das linhas de energia com um arco na curva do rio que ser\u00e1 eliminado nos pr\u00f3ximos anos conforme o rio migra.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Assim, a necessidade de sete revestimentos de a\u00e7o, cada um com oito p\u00e9s de largura e meia polegada de espessura, variando de 70 a 95 p\u00e9s de comprimento. Dentro de cada um desses revestimentos foi colocada uma gaiola de vergalh\u00f5es de a\u00e7o, variando de 14.000 a 46.000 libras e mantida no lugar por aproximadamente 130 jardas de concreto \u2013 em outras palavras, quase 15 caminh\u00f5es de cimento. Complete com uma gaiola de chumbador \u00e0 qual o poste de 80 p\u00e9s ser\u00e1 fixado, e voc\u00ea ter\u00e1 mais do que o pr\u00f3prio Paul Bunyan poderia fazer manualmente. Da\u00ed a necessidade de um guindaste sobre esteiras de 300 toneladas com um mastro de 130 p\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mas como levar o guindaste, os caminh\u00f5es de cimento e todos os outros equipamentos necess\u00e1rios para onde eles precisam ir?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Essa \u00e9 a quest\u00e3o que faz o Projeto de Desmatamento do Rio Bloomfield se destacar.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCada projeto tem suas pr\u00f3prias nuances que o tornam \u00fanico, e h\u00e1 outros que rivalizam com este em escala e complexidade\u201d, disse Kaufman, \u201cmas o que torna este \u00fanico \u00e9 obter acesso ao local.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVoc\u00ea est\u00e1 nas colinas ondulantes perto do fundo do rio e precisa levar um guindaste de 300 toneladas por uma milha fora da estrada. Este pode ser um dos projetos de acesso mais desafiadores que j\u00e1 realizamos.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>E um dos maiores, que come\u00e7ou com o Coordenador de Gest\u00e3o da Vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o Jared Murphy ajudando a criar um caminho de trabalho.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSe estivesse seco o m\u00e1ximo poss\u00edvel, isso funcionaria\u201d, disse Eslinger. \u201cMas se tivermos v\u00e1rios cent\u00edmetros de chuva no dia seguinte, temos que colocar tapetes no lugar.
