O Projeto da Linha de Transmiss\u00e3o Wheeler Creek-Kays da Hoosier Energy (Projeto) representa uma melhoria cr\u00edtica na infraestrutura para garantir o fornecimento confi\u00e1vel de energia el\u00e9trica para a regi\u00e3o centro-sul de Illinois. O projeto contempla a reconstru\u00e7\u00e3o e moderniza\u00e7\u00e3o de aproximadamente 45 quil\u00f4metros (28 milhas) de linha de transmiss\u00e3o entre a Subesta\u00e7\u00e3o Fairfield South e a Subesta\u00e7\u00e3o Wheeler Creek. Algumas \u00e1reas da linha de transmiss\u00e3o existente podem precisar ser desviadas para a instala\u00e7\u00e3o segura das novas estruturas.<\/p>\n

Essas melhorias fortalecer\u00e3o o sistema, aumentar\u00e3o a confiabilidade e dar\u00e3o suporte a opera\u00e7\u00f5es eficientes nos pr\u00f3ximos anos.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

A Wayne White Electric Cooperative \u00e9 a \u00fanica cooperativa local da Hoosier Energy em Illinois. As cooperativas de energia el\u00e9trica foram organizadas por moradores de \u00e1reas rurais que se uniram para fornecer eletricidade \u00e0s suas pr\u00f3prias casas, onde as concession\u00e1rias de capital aberto se recusavam a atuar (e ainda se recusam). Com escrit\u00f3rios em Fairfield e Enfield, a Wayne-White Electric Cooperative atualmente fornece energia para mais de 14.200 medidores em 11 condados no sudeste de Illinois.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n
