Production Engineer

Position: Production Engineer

Description: Perform engineering services that will maximize the reliability and efficiency of the power plant control systems and ancillary equipment. Act as the Plant's Safety & Regulatory Coordinator in assuring compliance with state and federal regulations and industry accepted safe working practices. Provide plant performance program leadership and direction. Maintain turbine/generator performance and maintenance oversignt.

Education: A Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or technology. A Master's of Science degree or Professional Engineers' license a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of coal fired power plant experience or equivalent industrial or manufacturing engineering experience, and sound working knowledge of industrial safety standards.

Skills and Knowledge: Principles of power plant construction, operation and maintenance; computerized control systems; microprocessor applications; analog and digital electronics; familiarity with high-level programming language; leadership and written and verbal communication skills; sound interpersonal skills.
