Le projet de ligne de transport d'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 Hoosier Energy Wheeler Creek-Kays (le Projet) repr\u00e9sente une am\u00e9lioration essentielle des infrastructures pour garantir un approvisionnement fiable en \u00e9lectricit\u00e9 dans le centre-sud de l'Illinois. Ce projet pr\u00e9voit la reconstruction et la modernisation d'environ 45 kilom\u00e8tres de ligne de transport entre le poste de transformation de Fairfield South et celui de Wheeler Creek. Il pourrait \u00eatre n\u00e9cessaire de modifier le trac\u00e9 de certaines portions de la ligne existante afin d'assurer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de l'implantation des nouvelles structures.<\/p>\n

Ces am\u00e9liorations renforceront le syst\u00e8me, am\u00e9lioreront sa fiabilit\u00e9 et assureront un fonctionnement efficace pour les ann\u00e9es \u00e0 venir.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n

Les coop\u00e9ratives \u00e9lectriques ont \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9es par des habitants des zones rurales qui se sont regroup\u00e9s pour alimenter eux-m\u00eames leurs foyers en \u00e9lectricit\u00e9, l\u00e0 o\u00f9 les entreprises de services publics priv\u00e9es refusaient (et refusent toujours) de desservir. Implant\u00e9e \u00e0 Fairfield et Enfield, la coop\u00e9rative \u00e9lectrique Wayne-White dessert actuellement plus de 14\u00a0200 compteurs dans 11 comt\u00e9s du sud-est de l'Illinois.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n
