Um sich auf zuk\u00fcnftige Situationen vorzubereiten, ging Figg im Kopf Aktionen durch \u2013 diesen Schalter umlegen, jenen Knopf dr\u00fccken.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Als Spezialist f\u00fcr Betriebstraining arbeitet Figg derzeit mit Tim Goodman, einem Schulungsspezialisten f\u00fcr Rauchgasentschwefelung (FGD), an der Entwicklung eines virtuellen Simulators mit Emerson Process Control in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Sobald der Simulator im sp\u00e4ten Fr\u00fchjahr eintrifft, werden die beiden die Bediener am System schulen, was ihnen praktische Erfahrung im Umgang mit einer Vielzahl von Situationen erm\u00f6glicht, ohne an einem Live-System arbeiten zu m\u00fcssen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Mit dem Simulator k\u00f6nnen Bediener verschiedene Prozesse durchlaufen, beispielsweise das Starten oder Abschalten einer Einheit oder die Handhabung eines unerw\u00fcnschten Ereignisses, einer St\u00f6rung oder eines Ger\u00e4teausfalls. \u201eSie k\u00f6nnen tats\u00e4chlich die Bedienelemente in die Hand nehmen\u201c, sagt Figg. \u201eDer Simulator hat die Lernkurve f\u00fcr unsere Bediener drastisch verk\u00fcrzt.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Der Simulator ist eine exakte Nachbildung der Computerpanels in den Haupt- und FGD-Kontrollr\u00e4umen.
