Tourism is a big business in Indiana – an industry with $10 billion of economic impact per year according to the most recent state report.

Hoosier Energy and its member cooperatives support these important state tourism activities by sponsoring the annual Indiana Festival Guide. As a matter of fact, Hoosier Energy started the Southern Indiana Festival Calendar that is the direct ancestor of the popular guide – it’s another link in electric co-ops’ ongoing chain of commitment to local communities.

Hoosier Energy member cooperatives have recently received supplies of the latest Indiana Festival Guides and can offer them to consumers and others from their communities at co-op offices, annual meetings, county fairs and other venues.

Those looking for a weekend getaway, a few hours out of the house or a way to relax and rejuvenate, will find something to their liking in the Festival Guide. The 96-page publication lists hundreds of choices scheduled during 2008.
